Greek Sun

The word photography originates from the Greek language. It means painting and light. When I was in Greece, I took an etymological and literal approach by using only natural light and painting a story with the mere elements offered by nature. With findings from our surroundings, like driftwood and palm leaves, we drew shadows on the human body that mimicked jewelry – jewelry that comes from the very landscapes of Lesbos, kissed by the Greek sun.
